As Trump wrote on his social network Truth Social, he considers the results of the midterm elections a big victory for himself, although overall "to a certain extent disappointing."

Trump noted that there were 219 wins and 16 losses among the candidates he supported during the campaign.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the recent congressional elections indicate a split in the United States.
