A call for donations was launched by the Secours populaire de Gentilly (Val-de-Marne), which suffered a new burglary.

The equivalent of ten food carts were stolen, adds Le Parisien.

The charity is therefore again in need of products such as coffee, tea, biscuits, sweets, chocolate bars, breakfast cereals, flour and oil, baking products. hygiene for adults but also nappies and potties for children.



Many families in need

More and more families are benefiting from the help of the association.

"Now we have a few people on the street and a lot of families who can no longer make ends meet, even though the parents are working,"

the general secretary of the Gentienne committee told Le Parisien

Toys are also being sought before the Christmas snack scheduled for December 17.

All donations can be dropped off at 12 rue de Reims in Gentilly, Tuesdays and Fridays between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
