We would like to inform you of the results of the poll we conducted to mark the 6th month of the inauguration of the Yun Seok-yeol government.

First, as to whether the government's response to the Itaewon disaster was appropriate, 7 out of 10 said it was inappropriate.

We asked you to evaluate the government's response to the Itaewon disaster.



'It was appropriate' at 27.8% and 'not appropriate' at 69.1%.



Conservatives showed similarity between appropriateness and inappropriateness within the margin of error, but progressives responded that it was not appropriate 8 times higher.



When asked who they thought was most responsible for the disaster, 25.8% of the police, 23.4% of local governments such as Seoul and Yongsan-gu, 18.2% of the President, 17.9% of the Minister of Public Administration and Security, and 1.3% of the Prime Minister.



Responses by political parties were largely mixed.



The support group for People's Power was the police at 53%, local governments 20.2%, the Minister of the Interior and Safety 8.3%, and the President 3.4%, but among the Democratic Party supporters, 35.4% for the President, 25.3% for the Minister of Public Administration and Security, 24% for local governments, and 8.2% for the police.



As to where it is appropriate to take charge of the truth of the Itaewon disaster, 30.1% of the joint police investigation headquarters consisted of 30.1%, 25% of National Assembly investigations, 19.9% ​​of investigations through permanent special prosecutors, and 12.2% of police entrusted to them.



We also looked into public opinion on the various crises that Korea is facing.



We asked how they evaluate the government's ability to manage social crises such as the Itaewon disaster, security crises such as North Korean missiles, political crises such as intensifying camp conflict, and economic crises such as the instability in the bond market from Legoland.



In all four fields, the negative evaluation was high at around 60%, and the positive evaluation stayed in the 20% range in the three fields of society, politics and economy.



Only the ability to manage security risks recorded 36.8%, which was the only one in the 30% range.
