It is a new global entity that has just been created, 50% owned by the Renault Group and 50% by the Chinese automotive giant Geely.

The aim is no more and no less than to become the world leader in the supply of low emission powertrains (engines and transmissions) in the years to come.

The new company should supply Renault, Dacia, Geely, Volvo, Lynk&Co, Proton, Nissan and Mitsubishi.

17 factories on 3 continents

This new entity will operate 17 powertrain plants on 3 continents and employ a total of 19,000 people.

It will have a combined capacity of over 5 million transmissions and motors to power over 130 countries.

The combined product portfolio of this new company could provide solutions for 80% of the global market.
