The weather on Tuesday: cloudy from the southwest to the northeast and in the Alps, often rainy elsewhere

The weather will be marked on Tuesday by a disturbance which will cross the country, announces Météo-France.

Arrived Monday by Brittany, this disturbance will spread in the morning from Île-de-France to the Center and Poitou-Charentes regions, then will shift slowly towards the east, losing its activity in the afternoon giving more than showers from the North-East borders towards the Centre-Val de Loire and New Aquitaine.

This disturbance will reactivate during the following night.

Aft, a trolling regime will set in, alternating between timid clearings and frequent cloudy periods accompanied by showers, more marked near the coast.

The cloud cover will remain over Provence, the lower Rhône valley and Languedoc giving some showers and moderate and lasting rains over the Cévennes.

South-westerly winds on the Channel coasts

From the Jura to the north of the Alps, the Massif Central, the rest of the Occitanie region and Corsica, high clouds will compose with beautiful clearings, becoming more discreet in the afternoon.

The South-West wind will reach 60 to 70 km/h on the Channel coasts.

At daybreak, the thermometer will show 4 to 7 degrees in the northeast quarter of the country, 8 to 12 degrees elsewhere in the interior, 12 to 15 by the sea. along the borders of the North-East and 19 to 20 on the shores of the Mediterranean, 21 to 22 south of the Garonne.
