Theodor Engström, 33, is charged with terrorist crimes after the murder of Sweden's psychiatry coordinator Ing-Marie Wieselgren during the Almedal Week this summer.
Another planned target was Center leader Annie Lööf, who is also a plaintiff in the trial that begins this week.
SVT has been able to show new images that reveal how Theodor Engström was close to Annie Lööf during the politicians' week in Almedalen in 2014 as well as in 2017.
