The tragedy took place around 5.30 pm in the Sant'Egidio district of the city.

According to an initial reconstruction, the little boy was riding a bike with his father and brother when he fell.

At that moment, a bus was arriving which failed to avoid him and resulted in a fatal head injury.

The circumstances in which the fall occurred are under consideration for the reconstruction of the municipal police;

it seems, however, that the little one collided with the wheel of his brother's bike, which was proceeding in front of him.

The fight would have made him lose his balance, causing him to fall to the ground.

Rescue, even if timely, was useless.
