A retaliatory complex strike was launched in the Ashkhani-Takhtani area in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

“As a result of the attack, a militant training camp and underground shelters of illegal armed groups were destroyed,” the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria (CPVS) said.

The strike eliminated 93 militants, including field commanders Saddam al-Dedali and Abdullah al-Ahmed.

135 members of the terrorist group were seriously injured.

In addition, the Syrian Air Force destroyed an UAV assembly workshop, a mobile electronic warfare station and up to forty attack drones prepared for use.

This made it possible to prevent terrorist attacks prepared by the militants at the facilities of the Syrian government forces and the Russian Armed Forces in Syria, the Central Air Defense Forces reported.

Earlier, the TsPVS said that the terrorists were preparing an attack on the Khmeimim airbase using kamikaze drones.
