High water in Piazza San Marco in Venice flooded by about 10 centimeters.

The peak expected from the tide center of the municipality was "modest" with a maximum at 9.35 which reached 102 centimeters at the lagoon inlets, 95 centimeters in the city.

The Mose did not go into operation as required by the protocol for measurements under the meter.

The water did not reach the basilica where the transparent glass barriers are already positioned around the perimeter of the church, which prevent the entry of the tide into the monument.

To change the forecasts - there was no estimate of true high water -, as explained by the tide center of the municipality, was the intensification of the north wind in the open sea, which favored circulation outside the harbor inlets.
