China has unveiled its first home-made military drone with a range of over 10,000 kilometers.

Amidst ongoing tensions over the situation in Taiwan and the South China Sea, it is a form of showing off the expansion of its operational range and keeping the United States in check.

In China, military aircraft and other items were shown to domestic and foreign media on the 6th before the largest air show in the country was held in the southern Guangdong province from the 8th.

Among them, the latest military drone "Pterosaur 3" with integrated reconnaissance and attack independently developed by China's state-owned enterprise was unveiled for the first time.

Regarding this drone, the Chinese Internet media said that it has a cruising range of over 10,000 km and that it can carry more than 2 tons of missiles. They say they are comparable.

Amidst ongoing tensions over the situation in Taiwan and the South China Sea, China has appealed to expand its operational scope, and is trying to keep the United States in check.

In addition, China exports its domestic military drones to more than 10 countries in the Middle East and Asia, and it seems that it wants to appeal its high technological capabilities and lead to export expansion.

A Chinese media man who visited the interview said, "If you have wonderful weapons, you can safely defend your territory. In five or six years, we will catch up with American technology."
