Nearly 100 calligraphy and painting artists from both sides of the strait attended the opening ceremony and visited the 100-meter-long scroll and the 100-piece boutique exhibition.

  Su Hui, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Taiwan League Central Committee, wrote the preface for the exhibition.

She expressed the hope that the artists would take this event as an opportunity to create more masterpieces with a high degree of ideological and artistic unity.

  Li Yuefeng, member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Taiwan League, said in his speech that artists from both sides of the strait used traditional Chinese painting techniques to create two 100-meter-long scrolls, "Motherland Rivers and Mountains" and "Chinese Communist Party Spiritual Genealogy", expressing the promotion of cross-strait common development. The wish to carry forward Chinese culture and promote the spiritual harmony of compatriots on both sides of the strait.

  Ma Xiaoguang, director of the Propaganda Bureau of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, director of the Information Bureau of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and spokesperson Ma Xiaoguang pointed out in his written speech that the event featured more than 60 fine works by more than 50 Taiwanese artists, fully demonstrating that the majority of Taiwan compatriots are happy to see cross-strait exchanges and look forward to Peaceful development of cross-strait relations.

Communication and cooperation are the unstoppable mainstream public opinion on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

  Yu Muming, former chairman of the New Party, said that calligraphers and painters show the great rivers and mountains of the motherland through artistic works in order to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enhance the sense of national identity.

  Taiwanese painter Yu Xiangjun introduced his exhibition painting titled "High Autumn Season" to a reporter from China News Agency.

This is a Chinese painting depicting autumn colors in Mentougou, Beijing, with red leaves in the close-up, persimmon trees in the middle, and mountains in the distance.

She traveled all over the mainland and gained a lot of creative inspiration. She looks forward to holding a solo exhibition in Beijing soon.

  It is reported that the exhibition will last until November 8.

The two 100-meter-long scrolls of "Motherland Rivers and Mountains" and "The Spiritual Genealogy of the Communist Party of China" will be donated to relevant national-level exhibition halls for collection after touring in various places.
