Ras Al Khaimah Family Court decides 449 cases with 100%

The Ras Al Khaimah Family Court announced that it had made a remarkable achievement in family cases, by adjudicating all cases before it during the first half of this year, with a percentage of 100%.

The head of Ras Al Khaimah Courts, Counselor Ahmed Muhammad Al Khateri, told "Emirates Today" that the number of cases examined by the Family Court amounted to 449 family cases, including 287 primary cases, and 162 cases on appeal, where all cases were decided.

He explained that the dismissal of all family cases “reflects the remarkable performance of the judicial work in the Family Court, and the tireless and distinguished efforts made by the judges in the speedy settlement of family cases, with the efficiency and quality of the judgments issued.” He pointed out that the low percentage of cases referred from the Court of First Instance to The Court of Appeal indicates the high confidence of the litigants and their satisfaction with the judicial rulings issued regarding their cases.

Al-Khatri explained that the average age of cases in the Family Court witnessed a positive level in terms of the decrease in the age of the ruled case, which is resolved in less than 59 days in the average time for a single primary case, starting from the date of its registration in the registration department, passing through the case management and up to its adjudication.
