A change of power was at the door in Tyresö last Thursday after the Moderates, the Christian Democrats and the Center Party agreed to govern the municipality with the help of a cooperation agreement with the Sweden Democrats.

But during the current municipal council meeting, Raymond Moubé (C) chose to vote against the agreement and instead support a government led by the Social Democrats.

- It came as a shock.

We in M, KD and C have gone to the polls on several common issues and it will be like this.

For the voters and for the politicians in Tyresö, this is very unfortunate, says Anki Svensson (M), opposition councillor.

"Has the majority of centrists behind me"

Raymond Moubé (C) believes that he did not go against the party line, but that he voted against the party comrades in the municipality who wanted to govern with the support of SD.

- Since the Center Party does not cooperate with the Sweden Democrats, I voted out SD to govern our municipality, says Raymond Moubé (C) to SVT.
