"In view of this situation, I have instructed the Ministry of Defense to resume our full participation in this work. At the same time, if Ukraine violates these guarantees, Russia reserves the right to withdraw from these agreements," Putin said at the Russian Federation Security Conference, according to the TASS news agency.

Putin said Kyiv's assurances that the "food trade" humanitarian corridor would not be used for military purposes was received through the Russian Defense Ministry.

Earlier, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said Moscow had received clear assurances from Kyiv that there would not be another attack in the Black Sea using the grain export corridor, thanks to the good offices of the United Nations and Turkey.

In the past few days, Turkey and the United Nations have worked hard to salvage the deal, Reuters reported.

Turkish Defense Minister Akar and Russian Defense Minister Shoigu held phone calls for two consecutive days. Turkish President Erdogan also held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the same day to reach an agreement on the restoration of the "food corridor".

Sizov, head of Russian agricultural consultancy Sovecon, said: "It was a rather unexpected turn. We did not bury the agreement, but we did not expect to return to it so soon... Erdogan, well done ."

It was previously reported that on October 29, Russia notified Ukraine that Ukraine used drones to attack Russian ships participating in the security of the Black Sea Grain Corridor, and for this reason, it suspends participation in the agreement on the export of agricultural products from Black Sea ports.

Four days later, Russia announced the resumption of the implementation of the Black Sea Grain Outbound Agreement.
