According to the observer, Washington's more active involvement in decisions made by Kyiv will help reduce the likelihood of a clash between Russia and NATO.

Earlier, Konstantin Vorontsov, Deputy Director of the Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that the North Atlantic Alliance was approaching the dangerous line of a direct collision with Russia, continuing to supply arms to Ukraine. 

During a meeting in Sevastopol, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that, in fact, "the NATO bloc is fighting against Russia."
