North Korea has launched a ballistic missile into the East Sea, the Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

North Korea has fired 30 ballistic missiles this year, four times the previous day and one this day, and three cruise missiles were released to the press.



It is the 19th missile launch since the inauguration of the Yun Seok-yeol government.



The North Korean provocation is presumed to have been made under the pretext of the large-scale joint air exercise 'Vigilant Storm', which the ROK and the US have been conducting for five days since the 31st of last month.
