In detail, the facts of the case, as established in the certainty of the court, and according to the investigations of the Public Prosecution, stated that the accused (W.F) was coming from his country, and arrived in Dubai in transit, waiting to transfer his destination to Indonesia, and entered the duty-free market, and saw some of the exhibits that he liked. Two watches and two new cases of medals bearing a well-known brand, and an Apple electronic device, with a total amount of 6,283 dirhams.

Investigations indicated that he put the stolen items in a bag and tried to get out, but the security men were able to detect and seize him.

By asking him during the investigations of the Public Prosecution and before the court, he admitted that he intended to steal those exhibits that he liked, so he did not pay their value, and put them in his bag, taking advantage of the fact that no one stopped him, and the accounting staff were busy with customers, and he went to a restaurant, and thought that he got away with his action, but he was surprised In the presence of a security officer, he stopped him and handed him over to the police.

The accused expressed his remorse for his behavior, indicating that he did not know why he did this, as the idea took hold of him at the time, and that personally, by virtue of his profession as a fitness trainer, he did not know the reason for committing this crime.

An employee at the Duty Free in Dubai testified that he saw the accused, through the surveillance cameras in the duty-free shops in Building No. 3, stealing some items from the electronics store, pointing out that he left the store without paying their value, after putting them in his handbag.

For its part, the court stated in the merits of the ruling that it is reassured that the accused confesses at all stages of the case, from the police report to the court session, of a free and conscious will.

The court saw from the circumstances of the crime and the accused's behavior that there was a possibility of its recurrence, and then decided to expel him from the state, and in return decided by virtue of his circumstances to take him with a measure of clemency, and to reduce the penalty to one month's imprisonment.
