The crime must have taken place between October 10 and 11.
The man was requested to be detained in his absence on the 25th of October and was arrested three days later on the 28th.
The custody hearing was held on Monday morning at Luleå district court.
The man denies the crime and opposes the prosecutor's arrest request.
Luleå District Court followed the prosecutor's line and decided that the man should be detained pending prosecution and trial.
Charges must be filed by November 14 at the latest.
