State Department Spokesman Price Doesn't Expect Russia-U.S. Contacts at G20 Summit

During the briefing, the journalist asked Price about possible contacts between Russia and the United States regarding the work of the American embassy in Moscow.

"I don't expect there to be bilateral discussions between the US and Russia in the context of the G20," he said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has not previously ruled out that he will go to the G20 summit.

The summit is scheduled for November 15-16, the event will be held on the Indonesian island of Bali.

As the American newspaper Politico wrote, citing sources, US officials are taking measures to prevent a meeting between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden in Indonesia.
