Brnabic announced an order from Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to strengthen air security.

She stressed that this order will be in effect permanently.

“If such things are repeated, we will bring down every such device, as any other country would do,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

Earlier, Serbian Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said that the Serbian armed forces were put on high alert against the backdrop of the situation in unrecognized Kosovo and Metohija.

According to him, the situation in Kosovo and Metohija is tense.

He said that representatives of Kosovo began to apply the decision to ban Serbian license plates on cars.

Vučević added that Serbia "does not plan to fight" and wants dialogue, but the army is ready to carry out any task on the orders of the country's supreme commander.

Since August 1, Serbian documents have ceased to be valid in Kosovo.
