British Defense Minister Wallace said there was a shortage of pilots for F-35 fighters in the country

According to TASS, Wallace said this during a speech in a committee of the House of Lords.

He called the situation "quite problematic."

The head of the British Ministry of Defense also admitted that the training of pilots in the management of such fighters takes up to eight years, instead of the established two to three.

In August, Sky News reported that it had become more difficult for the British armed forces to train pilots because of the situation in Ukraine, as the country's authorities sent their planes to NATO's eastern borders.
