China News Service, October 31st. According to Taiwan's "United Daily News", Keelung Island in Keelung City, Taiwan will be open for sightseeing on the island this year. Today is the last day.

The Keelung City Government said on the 31st that more than 50,000 people have landed on the island this year. Next year, a new reservation service platform will be launched for the public to inquire and make reservations. This system will improve the convenience for tourists to book boat seats, and can also clearly query the boatman's information.

It is reported that Keelung Island is located off the coast of Keelung and has the reputation of "Taiwan Dragon Ball".

The original coastal trail on the island was damaged due to old age. Last year, Keelung City sought subsidies from the tourism department to repair the trails, pavilions, indicators, guardrails, viewing platforms and other facilities.

The renovation project started on November 10 last year. After the rainy season, typhoons, strong wind and waves and other harsh weather tests, it was finally completed and opened on July 10 this year, allowing tourists to walk on the brand-new coastal trail, enjoy the magnificent scenery of mountains and seas, and enjoy Keelung. Natural scenery of the North Coast.

Zeng Ziwen, director of Keelung City’s Tourism and Urban Marketing Department, said that the coastal trail adopts the principle of reducing design, using local materials, preserving ecology and general design. Near the intersection of the trails, a rest pavilion for sunshade and rain protection and a guide signboard integrated with the landscape design are added, making it refreshing for tourists who land on the island.

Zeng Ziwen said that in order to maintain the quality of Keelung Island's eco-tourism, Keelung City conducts an annual evaluation of ships operating Keelung Island landing on the island, requiring service personnel on board to participate in first aid training and obtain certificates to improve the safety of landing on the island.

This year, Keelung City has approved 20 boats to operate island boarding tours. Each boat is accompanied by professional guide commentators to provide guide commentary, safety management and epidemic prevention advocacy for tourists on the island.

It is understood that in order to integrate the management information of Keelung Island's island landing, Keelung City has commissioned outsourced manufacturers to build a new reservation service platform, which has now entered the testing stage for boatmen.

The new reservation service platform is expected to be opened for public use next year. As long as the public chooses a ship approved by Keelung City to land on the island, they can visit the city's Badouzi Sightseeing Fishing Port (formerly Bisha Fishing Port), Bachimen Fishing Port and Keelung Port Small Boat Wharf. Wait for a boat ride to increase the accessibility of tourist information.
