“In the Krasnolimansky direction, the enemy, with three company tactical groups, tried to conduct offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Makeevka and Chervonopopovka of the Luhansk People's Republic.
All enemy attacks are repelled.
During the fighting, Russian troops destroyed more than 170 Ukrainian servicemen, three tanks, five armored combat vehicles and nine vehicles," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Russian Armed Forces had destroyed more than 180 Ukrainian militants in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction.
Also, more than 50 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the Krasnolimansky direction.
