Kanye West continues to be talked about, but this time the stories are, says CNN, his former collaborators. 

According to four members of his artistic entourage

, the rapper, who in recent days lost millionaire contracts with brands such as Adidas and Balenciaga for his anti-Semitic comments and racist provocations,

The album was then released in 2018 under the title

, a word he now uses as a nickname to refer to himself. 

"If he could, he'd be cheering for Hitler," a source close to West who left the rapper's company with a confidentiality agreement told CNN.

"He praised Hitler by saying it was incredible that he had accumulated so much power, and then went on to talk about the great things the Nazi regime did for the German people," the former collaborator added.

The rapper, according to CNN sources, said he had read "Mein Kampf" expressing open admiration for the Nazis and the regime's propaganda.

All sources have asked for anonymity for fear of retaliation.

CNN also asked West for a comment, which has not yet responded.

The rapper's racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric has provoked in recent days the distancing of groups and people who until now had been close to him.

The German group Adidas yesterday closed its collaboration with Ye, as the French fashion house Balenciaga and Gap had done a few days earlier.

After the news was published, Universal Music Group, the multinational that has released his music to date, confirmed that his contract with the rapper ended last year.

"There is no place for anti-Semitism in our society. We are deeply committed to fighting it as well as all forms of prejudice," the company said in a statement.

On Wednesday, sneaker brand Skechers confirmed that West was kicked out of the Los Angeles offices because he showed up unannounced and the company "has no plans to work" with him.
