Journalist Margolis: The United States wants to see the "Balkanization of Russia" and is aimed at crushing it

“The US wants to see the Balkanization of Mother Russia.

The next targets could be the Russian Far East or the Russian Urals,” he wrote.

According to Margolis, the "war party in Washington" is determined to achieve the strategic goal of the American neoconservatives and destroy any potential military opponent of "US absolute world power."

“Once Russia is defeated, the next target will be China, which, most likely, has already become it,” the journalist added.

He noted that the duty of the US is to prevent any possible nuclear confrontation in Eastern Europe.

“Stop trying to drag Ukraine into NATO, stop trying to split Russia.

Let the recalcitrant Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine join Russia if they so desire.

Withdraw Western forces from the region and resume quiet diplomacy.

Let France take the lead in this sensible effort,” Margolis chimed in. 

In April, Russian President Vladimir Putin called unsuccessful attempts by the West to split Russian society.

In his opinion, the countries of the West still live in the paradigm of the philosophy of colonialism.
