(This place of peace of mind is my hometown) Angola students immerse themselves in the beauty of intangible cultural heritage

China News Service, October 28th (Ma Haiyan Hui Xiaodong) From the "embroidered" Huihe shadow sculpture on the stone, to the eight-inch puppet with a frown and a smile... Angolan student Wei Yuda shared his experience of Huihe shadow sculpture , the experience of puppet show, and show the world the unique charm of Fujian's intangible cultural heritage through the form of video.

Wei Yuda said that the production process of Huihe Shadow Sculpture requires a lot of patience. Special alloy steel chisel points are used to chisel out gray-white micro-dots of different sizes, depths, and density, to embellish lines and use lines to facet. Under the blessing of color, a work is gradually formed.

In Zhangzhou Ancient City Puppet Theater, Wei Yuda practiced the martial arts movements of puppets under the guidance of puppet show teachers, and used five fingers to manipulate the puppets to perform, feeling the art on his fingertips with his heart.

The deepest feeling this experience brought to Wei Yuda is that behind every vivid puppet character, the inheritors have devoted their time and effort.

Intangible cultural heritage is an important symbol of the historical and cultural achievements of a country and a nation, and an important part of excellent traditional culture.

Hui'an stone carving has a long history and has been inherited for more than 300 years.

In 2006, Hui'an stone carvings and Zhangzhou puppets were selected into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists, which is of great significance for inheriting traditional Chinese culture.

  Culture is national and global.

The prosperity of world civilization requires exchanges and collisions between cultures. In Wei Yuda's view, recording what you see, hear and feel in the form of short videos may open a window for the outside world to understand an objective and three-dimensional China .
