Tragic event in Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
A child under 3 years of age has died after falling this Wednesday around 11 in the morning from a ninth floor in a building in the Can Calders neighborhood of this town.
After the accident, the minor was seriously admitted to the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, but he died this Thursday as a result of the serious injuries.
The Mossos d'Esquadra opened an investigation but everything points to an unfortunate accident.
The Sant Feliu City Council has expressed its "deepest condolences" to the family, friends and people close to the child and has called for this Friday at 12:00 a rally and a minute of silence in the Plaza de la Vila.
Another was also made at the beginning of the municipal plenary session this Thursday.
"As a result of the sad news, and to accompany the victim's family in these painful moments, 48 hours of official mourning are declared in Sant Feliu, which will entail the suspension of public acts on Friday and Saturday," said the Consistory through social networks.
