According to TASS, the relevant amendments are proposed to be made to the law "On the state language of the Russian Federation."
According to the explanatory notes, the document is aimed at monitoring the observance by officials and Russian citizens of the norms of the Russian literary language.
“The draft federal law assumes the inadmissibility of using foreign words, with the exception of those that do not have commonly used analogues in the Russian language, the list of which is contained in normative dictionaries,” the explanation to the bill says.
Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said on the air of the Ukrainian talk show "Big Lvov Speaks" that the Russian language should completely disappear from the country.
