Russian Ambassador: Shoigu assured his colleagues that Russia is not going to use nuclear weapons

“The Minister of Defense reassured every minister that we are not going to use nuclear weapons,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Shoigu, during negotiations with the head of the Chinese Ministry of Defense, Wei Fenghe, brought to him concern about possible provocations by Ukraine using a “dirty bomb”.

On October 23, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry also held telephone conversations with colleagues from Turkey and France, Hulusi Akar and Sebastian Lecornu, as well as with Ben Wallace and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin.

In a conversation with the ministers, Shoigu stressed the concern over a possible provocation by Kyiv with the use of a "dirty bomb".
