The Russian military conducted a nuclear war drill using all strategic weapons.

President Putin observed the exercise on video.

The Russian military has launched intercontinental ballistic missiles, submarine-launched ballistic missiles, and from strategic bombers to hypersonic missiles, greatly heightening the sense of crisis about nuclear war.

Russia's Ministry of Defense conducted a regular nuclear exercise with President Putin in attendance.

It is the first time Russia has conducted a nuclear exercise in more than eight months since February 19, just before the invasion of Ukraine.

The video released by the Russian military contains footage of the launch of the Kinzal missile, the Iskander tactical ballistic and cruise missile, the Zircon hypersonic missile, and the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile.

Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu described the exercise as "to launch a large-scale nuclear attack in response to an enemy nuclear attack."

The U.S. Department of Defense has previously disclosed that it has been informed of the exercise by Russia, emphasizing that this is Russia's annual exercise and there is no change in NATO's military readiness.

President Putin, who observed the drill, also attended a meeting of the heads of intelligence agencies, repeatedly asserting that he was aware of Ukraine's plans to use 'Dirty Bomb'.

Dirty Bomb is a bomb that combines nuclear material with a conventional bomb, an inhumane weapon capable of causing widespread radioactive contamination.
