“In Russia, the harvesting of the main cereal crops is being completed.

In particular, as of today, 1.2 million tons of buckwheat have been harvested in the originally recorded weight, which is 335 thousand tons, or 39%, more than the figure for the same date last year, ”the agency said in a statement.

It is clarified that an increase in the gross harvest will make it possible to fully ensure the loading of processing enterprises and expand the country's export opportunities.

According to the agency, the cultivation of crops is carried out in 49 regions of the country, while about 75% of the gross harvest falls on the Altai Territory, Bashkiria, Kursk, Voronezh and Oryol regions.

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia stated that winter sowing in the country was carried out by more than 80% of the plan.
