According to Frank Madsen, king cow brothers are raised by private individuals in Sweden, but most people who have poisonous snakes are serious.
- In relation to how many snakes there are, it is unusual for them to escape.
When it happens, it's usually with those who have recently acquired snakes and who don't realize how incredibly good they are at getting out, or have them loose in the apartment, says Frank Madsen.
Likes to swim in drains
A snake can survive for a couple of months without food, he says.
However, they cannot survive in a Swedish winter climate.
They like to get into drains and are good swimmers.
The snakes most likely to escape are different kinds of snooks.
Larger snakes often lie still and wait for their prey.
When Madsen is asked if snakes have escaped from the reptile center in Malmö, he crosses his fingers and laughs.
