As the spokeswoman said, it was a joint action between the LKA and the public prosecutors in Darmstadt, Kassel, Hanau, Gießen and Fulda.

Apartments were searched in the districts of Marburg-Biedenkopf, Fulda, Bergstrasse, Offenbach and in the Vogelsberg district, in the Main-Kinzig district and in the Schwalm-Eder district.

LKA President Andreas Röhrig pointed out “that people from the right-wing extremist spectrum can pose a high risk.

This is also shown by events from the recent past.” It is all the more important to prevent this through intensive investigations.

Right-wing extremists not only rejected the free-democratic basic order, "they are also willing to fight it with violence," said Röhrig.

According to the LKA, the Hessian police have taken action against members of the right-wing extremist scene in Hesse in more than 430 cases since July 2019.

The actions were led by the “BAO Hessen R”, a special investigative group that had been set up to prosecute right-wing extremist crimes.

In this context, there were 320 searches and about 8,400 seizures.

A total of 171 arrest warrants against people from the right-wing extremist spectrum were executed.

In 2022 there have been 76 search warrants in Hesse so far, among other things, according to the information, the officials have seized numerous weapons and Nazi memorabilia.
