Egypt formed a large part of the scientific career of Dr. Sheikha Seif Arhama Al Shamsi, who drew the features of her practical stations later, as she was not limited to being her first university station to study for a bachelor’s degree, but also exceeded her for postgraduate studies (Masters and Ph.D.), until she was crowned as Director of the Arab Women’s Organization, Which operates within the framework of the League of Arab States, based in Egypt, for a period of four years.

Dr. Sheikha, who has issued eight specialized books, confirmed that “the experience of being sent to (the Mother of the World) was not difficult, as we have become familiar with Egypt since our childhood. The name of the leader is Gamal Abdel Nasser.

In 1975, Dr. Sheikha joined Cairo University, majoring in economics, and decided to continue her postgraduate studies in Egypt, so she joined the American University in Cairo, to obtain a master's, followed by a doctorate at Cairo University.

She practiced academic work as a teaching assistant at the UAE University after her return, and after her master's and doctorate, she worked as an economics professor at the university, in addition to her work as deputy director of the University Requirements Unit (Basic Education Center), thus combining academic and administrative work.

Dr. Sheikha later assumed the position of Assistant Undersecretary for Curricula at the Ministry of Education, and after her retirement, she moved to Egypt again as Director of the Arab Women Organization, in honor of her efforts over the years in the field of education and the economy. Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (Mother of the Emirates).

Dr. Sheikha said, “The first Emirati university graduate was in Cairo, specifically in Al-Azhar, and he is Sheikh Muhammad bin Saeed bin Ghobash, who moved to Egypt in 1927, studied at Al-Azhar, and graduated in 1930 with a degree in Sharia sciences, and when he returned to the homeland appointed as a judge.”

She referred to the role of the late father, Sheikh Zayed, may his soul rest in peace, in strengthening the close relationship between the two countries: “Egypt was, and still is, the second home of the people of the Emirates, and I recall a beautiful position in one of the acquaintances in Egypt, in which one of the attendees indicated that we From a country whose sheikh loves the Egyptian people, which reflects a great appreciation for the prominent role played by the father, Sheikh Zayed, in strengthening the relationship between the two countries.”

She stressed that the Egyptian-Emirati relations are among the most successful Arab models, which are not limited to governmental cooperation, but extend to the popular level.

The scholarships that were sent to Cairo are among the most fruitful results of this relationship, which was embodied in the graduation of qualified cadres that contributed to the renaissance of the state.
