The National Assembly Intelligence Committee conducts state inspections targeting the National Intelligence Service at the National Intelligence Service in Naegok-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

In the private audit, the ruling and opposition parties are expected to ask questions about the possibility of North Korea's 7th nuclear test, the basis for judging North Korea's defection to the North in the case of the 'Attack of a public official in the West Sea' that occurred during the Moon Jae-in administration, and the process of handling the 'repatriation of North Korean fishermen to North Korea'.

In particular, as former NIS chiefs Seo Hoon and Park Ji-won are under investigation by the prosecution in two cases, a head-on clash between the ruling and opposition parties is expected.

There is also likely to be a question about North Korea's recent trend of raising the level of provocations by mobilizing all conventional weapons such as ballistic and cruise missiles and large-scale artillery firepower and tactical aircraft.
