The corresponding decree was signed by the governor of the region Veniamin Kondratiev.

“From October 27, in the Krasnodar Territory, the passage of freight transport to the Kerch ferry crossing will be partially restricted,” the statement says.

It is clarified that the measure is aimed at reducing the downtime of trucks on the approaches to the crossing, as well as speeding up the delivery of socially significant goods.

On October 12, it became known that more than 1,000 trucks were queuing for a ferry across the Kerch Strait from the Krasnodar Territory.

Earlier, the Ministry of Transport of Crimea announced that four ferries were launched at the crossing in the Kerch Strait.
