“According to the investigation, the defendant, while studying at Ulyanovsk College, publicly expressed his approval of terrorist acts,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
He also expressed a desire to commit a mass murder of students of the school where he studied himself, the department writes.
“For this purpose, he purchased ammunition, as well as instructions for making a Molotov cocktail and a plan for the school premises,” the press service said.
On October 7, the Investigative Committee of Russia completed its investigation into Ilnaz Galyaviev, who is accused of killing nine people at Kazan Gymnasium No. 175 in May 2021.
