The Israeli occupation army announced, on Tuesday evening, that a settler was moderately wounded in a stabbing attack in the village of Al-Fundoq on the Nablus road, at a time when several Palestinian youths were injured during clashes in the occupied West Bank.

The army said that the attacker managed to withdraw from the place, indicating that the occupation forces were searching for him.

Israeli newspapers reported that the injured person was taken to hospital for treatment.

The stabbing comes hours after the death of 6 martyrs in Nablus and Ramallah, including the prominent leader of the "Areen Al-Aswad" groups, Wadih Al-Houh, with the Israeli army's bullets.

Sporadic confrontations in the West Bank

On the other hand, a Palestinian youth was wounded by live ammunition, today, Tuesday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' shooting at him, in clashes that erupted at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) also reported that another young man was wounded this evening by a bullet in the thigh during confrontations with the occupation, in Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem.

Meanwhile, clashes erupted between the youths and the Israeli occupation forces - this evening - in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.

In Hebron, two young men were wounded by live ammunition, during clashes with Israeli forces in the Bab al-Zawiya area.
