Police officers were targeted by mortar fire as they intervened in Grigny (Essonne) on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

It was during this intervention that a policeman was hit by mortar fire.
He was injured in the foot according to information from our colleagues.
"It's not necessarily very serious this time, but a mortar in a car catches fire, and at point-blank range it can do significant damage...", explained a police source.
The CRS 8, a unit specializing in urban violence, went there to help the police restore order in this district of Grigny.
Three people were arrested.
