China News Service, October 24. According to the WeChat public account of the Chinese Consulate General in Perth, the Chinese Consulate General in Perth recently issued a concentrated answer to the "Notice on Requirements for Pre-departure Testing for Persons Going to China".

  1. Testing requirements

According to the requirements of the "Notice", all people who travel from Australia to China must undergo 2 nucleic acid (PCR) tests within 48 hours (2 days) before boarding the flight from Australia.

The first nucleic acid test must be carried out on the second day before boarding the flight departing from Australia, and the second test must be carried out on the day of the flight departing from Australia.

The two tests must be carried out at two different testing institutions (with different names) with an interval of 24 hours.

Please note that outbound flights refer to flights departing from Australia, not flights from Perth to Sydney or Melbourne.

For example, the flight departing from Australia is on July 27, and the first nucleic acid test will be carried out on July 25. After obtaining the test report, you can apply for a health code.

Carry out the second nucleic acid test on July 27, and board the plane with the health code (blue code) and the second negative nucleic acid test report (paper report).

  2. Testing institutions

  (1) If the first nucleic acid test is conducted in Western Australia, the consulate general does not designate a testing institution, and the testing institutions published on the website of the Ministry of Health of Western Australia will be recognized, but it must be ensured that the two nucleic acid tests are carried out in two different testing institutions. carried out at intervals of 24 hours.

Before the test, please confirm in advance that you can obtain the official test report in time (the embassy does not accept screenshots of text messages or doctor's certificates).

The first nucleic acid test for people from Western Australia to China can be selected from three testing institutions: Australian Clinical Labs, Clinipath Pathology, and Healius (Western Diagnostic Pathology).

  (2) For information on testing institutions in the city where the flight to China takes off, please visit the website of the local Chinese consulate general.

After the first nucleic acid test in Perth for people from Western Australia going to China, they can conduct the second nucleic acid test on the day of boarding at Hisopath opposite Gate D of the International Departure Hall of Sydney Airport and Histopath in Terminal 1 of Melbourne Airport.

  3. Apply for a health code

  (1) After receiving the first negative nucleic acid test report within 48 hours before boarding, you should immediately upload materials and submit a health code application through the WeChat applet.

If the first nucleic acid test is carried out in Western Australia, the "Nucleic Acid Testing Agency" in the Mini Program should select "Western Australia Testing Agency".

The embassy arranges a special person to review the health code. After submitting it, you can check the review progress online, without the need to call.

  (2) Special reminder: It will take a certain amount of time for the embassy to review the test report and verify the application materials.

Please be sure to complete the health code application before 22:00 Beijing time one day before the departure of the flight from Australia. The application submitted after that cannot be guaranteed to be reviewed before the flight takes off.

  (3) List of uploaded materials:

  1. The first nucleic acid test report within 48 hours before boarding.

  2. A ticket order or itinerary showing the passenger's name and flight to China.

  3. International travel document information page (referring to one of passports, travel documents, Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macau residents, and Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan residents).

  4. Proof of vaccination (for those who have been vaccinated).

  4. Precautions for persons with past infection history and close contacts

  (1) The requirements for personnel with a history of past infection are as follows:

  1. Carry out two nucleic acid tests within three days after recovery (with an interval of more than 24 hours), if both are negative, fill in the "Self Health Status Monitoring Form (14 days)" after the second nucleic acid test.

After completing the 14-day health monitoring, send two nucleic acid test reports (must be official test reports, SMS notifications and doctor's certificates are not accepted) and health monitoring form to the embassy (hsperth45@gmail.com) by email with the subject of the email: "Recovery review + name + contact number", please briefly explain the situation in the content of the email.

After passing the review, you can perform nucleic acid testing before boarding and apply for a health code as required by ordinary personnel. When applying for a health code, you need to upload all the above materials.

If the nucleic acid test is positive again before boarding, the above process must be repeated.

Persons with a history of infection who have completed the above procedures should, in principle, complete the first nucleic acid test before travel in Perth, and apply for a health code from the embassy.

If you plan to apply for a health code from other consulates, please contact the embassy in advance, otherwise it will not be approved.

  (2) Requirements for close contacts or persons with suspected symptoms

The parties are required to undergo 5-day health monitoring and fill in the "Self Health Status Monitoring Form".

If there is no abnormality, the nucleic acid test before boarding can be carried out as required and the health code can be applied normally.

When applying for a health code, you need to upload the "Self Health Status Monitoring Form".

  5. Airline epidemic prevention requirements

Airlines will check the health code, nucleic acid test, temperature measurement and other measures on the spot according to the requirements of epidemic prevention. Please cooperate, otherwise you may be denied boarding.

Please consult the airline in advance for details.

  6. Transit issues

  (1) Transit will face the dual risks of detention and travel infection caused by the interruption or cancellation of the flight at the transit place. Please comprehensively and prudently evaluate various plans to travel to China.

It is recommended to choose direct flights from Australia to China as much as possible.

  (2) In principle, tests should be carried out at the place of departure and the place of transit (the place where the flight to China takes off), and health codes should be applied for separately.

  (3) Due to the different time of the connecting flight departing from Australia to a third country, passengers are requested to follow the "nucleic acid (PCR) test must be carried out twice within 48 hours before boarding the flight departing from Australia, and the second test should be carried out on the day of the flight departing from Australia." The two tests must be carried out in two different testing institutions (with different names), and the interval must be 24 hours.” Choose the connecting flight carefully, and properly arrange the time for testing and uploading materials to apply for the health code, so as to avoid the failure of the testing time limit to meet the requirements. and cannot apply for a health code.

When submitting the application for the health code, please fill in the information of the origin flight (departing Australia flight) and the connecting flight to China accurately, and upload the whole flight ticket order.

  (4) Entry and testing requirements at transit places vary. For details, please visit the website of the Chinese embassy or consulate in the locality.

  7. Important reminder

The current global epidemic situation is still severe. It is recommended that "non-emergency, non-essential, and no travel", N95 masks must be worn throughout the journey and practical protection should be taken.
