Luca Vanneschi and Alessandro Albertoni will be able to take advantage of the semi-liberty regime.
The two young men were definitively sentenced to three years in prison for attempted group sexual violence against the Genoese student Martina Rossi, who died in 2011 falling from the balcony of the hotel where she was on vacation.
The girl died trying to escape the violence.
The detention
Vanneschi and Albertoni thus leave the Arezzo prison a few minutes away from each other.
In prison for about two weeks, they will be able to leave the penitentiary during the day, according to the provisions of the surveillance court of Florence.
They will both work with their parents and then return to the Arezzo prison in the evening.

This morning Alessandro Albertoni's father arrived outside the prison of San Benedetto.
"It is not fair - he says - my son is grown up, but I am here waiting for him because we are afraid of retaliation. We live by work and commitment in life. The boys have accepted the sentence, they cannot do otherwise. Alessandro is a good boy," I had been accompanying him to play sports since he was four. He has always been a serious sportsman, he has never done anything unfair to anyone.
