“Belarusian border guards stopped an attempt to oust refugees from the territory of Poland,” the statement says.

It is specified that on Monday, October 24, Polish border guards brought refugees to the barrier fence installed on the border with Belarus.

According to the committee, the Polish security forces tried to push the refugees to the Belarusian territory through the gate intended for animals.

After stopping the attempt, the Polish border guards took the refugees back.

Earlier, the human rights organization Amnesty International announced torture in Latvia against refugees and migrants on the border with Belarus.

In November 2021, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, said that the EU ignores the brutal treatment of migrants by the security forces of Poland and Lithuania on the border with Belarus.
