Grossi's statement was circulated by the IAEA.

“The IAEA is preparing a visit to these facilities in the coming days,” TASS quoted him as saying.

He added that the purpose of the trip of specialists would be to detect "any possible undeclared nuclear activity and materials."

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, decided to send experts to Ukraine after Russia's statement about the creation of a "dirty bomb" by Kyiv.

On October 23, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had telephone conversations with colleagues from Turkey and France Hulusi Akar and Sebastian Lecornu, as well as with Ben Wallace and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin.

In a conversation with the ministers, Shoigu stressed the concern over a possible provocation by Kyiv with the use of a "dirty bomb".
