Charles welcomes Rishi Sunak to take over as Prime Minister of Britain tomorrow

Downing Street announced in a statement that Rishi Sunak, who won the leadership of the Conservative Party on Monday, will be received by King Charles III tomorrow, Tuesday, to officially designate him as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Liz Terrace, who resigned Thursday from this position, is scheduled to address Downing Street at around 9:15 GMT, before heading to Buckingham Palace, where she will be received by King Charles III.

Later, King Charles will receive Rishi Sunak, tasking him with forming the British government, and heading to Downing Street to deliver a speech at about 10:35 GMT.
