The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the Palestinian boy, Rabbi Arafa, was shot dead by the occupation soldiers at a military checkpoint in the West Bank, and the Israeli police announced that a settler was seriously injured after being stabbed near the French Hill in occupied Jerusalem.

The ministry stated that the 32-year-old was killed by a bullet to the head at the military checkpoint, southeast of Qalqilya.

Witnesses reported that the occupation army opened fire on young men returning from work in Israel who were trying to enter the city of Qalqilya.

Activists had broadcast pictures of what they said was a shooting by a soldier of the occupation forces on a boy in front of a group of Palestinian children in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, opposite the headquarters of the occupation police in the area of ​​the incident.

On the other hand, the occupation army said that its forces dealt with a vehicle carrying illegal workers that tried to run over a soldier.

The occupation police also announced that an Israeli settler was seriously injured as a result of being stabbed near the French Hill in occupied Jerusalem.

For his part, Al-Jazeera correspondent said that the occupation forces shot a boy suspected of carrying out the stabbing attack.

The occupation army radio also reported that the Israeli forces arrested the father of the stabbing attacker in Jerusalem after raiding his house east of the city.

The Israeli police intensified their presence in the city, and a helicopter flew in the vicinity of the accident.

Clashes have recently escalated between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces in several axes in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, especially after the martyrdom of the Shuafat operation bomber, Uday Al-Tamimi (22 years), 3 days ago.

Al-Tamimi was shot dead by the occupation late Wednesday evening near the settlement of "Ma'ale Adumim", which is built on Palestinian lands east of the occupied Holy City.
