Army search operations are underway, according to its spokesman, Captain Anthony Mwalushay.

These attacks are, according to him, consecutive to the pressure exerted by the army on the rebels of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).

Immediately after the escape from the Butembo prison, the enemy first began to radicalize its escapees and train them to become jihadists.

During all this time, we are tracking them down, there are operations everywhere, because the enemy is no longer fixed.

The enemy is fleeing because there is military pressure.

Unfortunately, in his flight, he needs food, he needs medicine because he also registers wounded in his ranks.

This is why you saw what happened in Maboya, where the enemy looted more than 4 shops and attacked health structures to obtain pharmaceutical products.

We dispatched reinforcements from Beni to Maboya and arrived there, the enemy had already fled.

We started the pursuit against the enemy.

As I speak to you, we have already arrested 4 terrorists.

We even arrested one of the gentlemen who directed the terrorists and his auxiliaries to these villages to operate.
