The first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, asked to expand the list of workers who do not fall under the criteria for partial mobilization, and include teachers, boarding schools and orphanage teachers.

As the deputy told RT, she raised this issue at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Education.

“I get a lot of letters.

Only we have 3.3 thousand letters, - says Lantratova.

- Experts believe that the school has a female face lately.

And this has a bad effect on the psychological education of the boys.

We have many incomplete families.

In general, we have a shortage of teachers in the country, especially in rural areas.

Sometimes a man, in addition to being a teacher, can give children a masculine example of behavior in education.

The deputy appealed to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov with a request to consider including teachers from boarding schools and orphanages in the list of persons who are entitled to a deferment from mobilization.

“I have already applied to Sergei Kuzhugetovich with a request to expand the list of workers who do not fall under the criteria for partial mobilization with elementary and secondary school teachers.

Then my subscribers correctly paid attention to another category of teachers - to the teachers of orphanages, boarding schools and social rehabilitation centers, - says Lantratova.

- It is quite difficult for women to cope with difficult teenagers or children with disabilities alone.

In some cases, it is masculine strength and character that is required.

It is clear that the teacher will not be able to replace the father of the boys, but they will still receive much-needed male attention and education from him.

"The example of an officer"

Since the beginning of partial mobilization, similar appeals have been received by the editors of RT.

The authors of the messages - colleagues of teachers and parents of schoolchildren - said that they were often talking about valuable specialists, and feared that after their departure there would be no one to teach.

So, on September 24, 33-year-old Trofim Oskin, a primary school teacher in a Moscow school, received a summons.

At the military registration and enlistment office, he was pasted a red piece of paper with a note that he would only be subject to general mobilization, and they let him go home, the mother of one of the students told RT: “In early October, they called me again.

The mark from the soldier was thrown away.

Vision checked - bad.

They said: "We will retrain."

They took it.

Now in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

To the question in the military registration and enlistment office “What do you think?”

said he was ready to go for the Motherland.

Parents of students of Moscow school No. 1494 asked to release the class teacher of the cadet class, 45-year-old father of many children, Alexei Zapletnyuk, from mobilization.

He teaches three subjects at school at once: social studies, history and life safety.

“Our cadet class was formed this year, and very quickly, thanks to the personal authority of Alexei Mikhailovich, the children became friends, began to study better, they got the motivation for further growth and development,” one of the mothers wrote.

- If it is not returned to the class and school, there will be a giant hole in the schedule for teaching three subjects, and it is very difficult to find teachers in the middle of the school year.

Moreover, the school will lose a person responsible for the patriotic education of children, whose opinion was respected even by teenage boys.

After all, Alexei Mikhailovich showed by his example what an officer means, and they wanted to be like him.

Zapletnyuk was summoned twice to the military registration and enlistment office, parents of schoolchildren say.

According to them, the first time he received a deferment, as he is a subject teacher, but a week later he was called again and mobilized.

“As an officer and teacher, Aleksey Zapletnyuk did not report all the circumstances of his activities to the military registration and enlistment office, packed his things and on the same day left with the group for the military training unit.

As he himself explained: “I told the children about patriotism, if I say one thing and do another, who will I be for them,” adds the author of the appeal to the editors of RT.

Another case of teacher mobilization occurred in Bashkiria.

The teacher of the Bashkir language and literature, Miras Ishdavletov, was supposed to appear at the military registration and enlistment office the day after he received the title of "Honored Teacher of Bashkortostan."

He is also the winner of the audience award and fifth place in the All-Russian professional competition "The Best Teacher of Native Language and Native Literature - 2022".

"We are waiting for the decision of the government"

However, some military registration and enlistment offices listen to the arguments of parents of schoolchildren and colleagues of teachers.

So, for example, the agenda sent to the "Teacher of the Year - 2018" from Pskov, Ilya Kazantsev, was canceled.

The man teaches history, social studies and law at a multidisciplinary lyceum.

After contacting the editors of RT, the director of the Kalmykovskaya secondary school with 20 years of experience, 58-year-old resident of the Volgograd region, Alexander Faltin, was also returned home.

According to his daughter Diana, he has myopia in both eyes, type 2 diabetes and hypertension.

However, the teacher's relatives did not have time to collect all the medical certificates: the summons was handed in in the evening, and in the morning they were ordered to appear at the military registration and enlistment office.

“Everyone had to have documents confirming medical contraindications.

But when you receive a summons in the evening, and in the morning you need to go, it’s difficult to collect documents, ”Faltin himself told RT.

- In the military registration and enlistment office there were two officers next to me - one is 59 years old, the second is 51 - with a bunch of chronic diseases.

Then the military commissar came up to me and said: "Your issue is resolved, you can go."

It should be noted that earlier the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation sent a petition to the government for a deferment from partial mobilization for school teachers.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Andrey Korneev.

He told reporters that a lot will depend on the position of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff: "We are waiting for the government's decision and we will promote it comprehensively."
