The association “In memory of our angels” intends to file a complaint this Wednesday for the cyberharassment that the families of victims of the Millas bus accident (Pyrénées-Orientales) would suffer.

According to Fabien Bourgeonnier, father of one of the children killed during the tragedy and president of the association, Internet users would have threatened and insulted victims on the sidelines of the trial of the driver;

Nadine Oliveira, 53, is being prosecuted for "manslaughter and involuntary injury" after the accident which claimed the lives of six children.

The school bus she was driving had been hit head-on by a TER on a level crossing in 2017. During her trial (from September 19 to October 7), the 50-year-old was hospitalized for a heart attack, after a discomfort in the middle of the hearing.

Users who defend the driver

According to Fabien Bourgeonnier, the families of victims were the target of an outburst on social networks.

Internet users would have denounced the harassment aimed at the driver.

“We were made to pass for people wishing (s) to die”, confides the man to the

"It is time that we respect our missing children, the surviving victims, the families hurt forever," said Fabien Bourgeonnier.
