And the Democratic heavyweights are going into battle.

At the end of last week, Joe Biden was in Colorado, California and Oregon, states which are a priori rather favorable to him.

The goal: to mobilize voters, defend its record and raise funds to finance the various local Democratic campaigns.

In the next few days, he plans to do the same, in Pennsylvania, his state of birth, and in Florida.

These are more difficult places for him and Joe Biden knows that his still low popularity rating is not necessarily an advantage there.

But he is not alone.

In the tight races, among the members of the administration, it is the first lady, Jill Biden, who is the most requested by the candidates.

Just this weekend, she was in Georgia and Florida, where she even gave an interview to conservative media.

Former President Barack Obama is planning stops in Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.

He also helps in terms of speech, for example by advising his people to talk less about Donald Trump and to focus on subjects that mobilize more the Democratic electorate.

It is no coincidence that the subject of abortion remains one of the most discussed by the White House.
