That Billström would take a ministerial position in the government was not a high-odds one, he is something of a loyal servant within the Moderates.

But as he was primarily concerned with domestic affairs, many raised their eyebrows when he was given responsibility for foreign policy in such an uncertain world political situation.

- When the prime minister asks if you want to take on a task like this, I think you answer yes, if you think you have something to contribute.

Billström himself was not surprised but proud, honored and happy.

And he has a plan for foreign policy:

- The main task for Swedish foreign policy is of course to promote Swedish interests in all areas, which at the same time means that other countries with which we cooperate benefit from us and we from them.

"We will always stand for equality"

As examples of this, Tobias Billström gives Ukraine and the partnership within NATO and the transatlantic link.

Is Sweden's feminist foreign policy over now?

- The use of the term feminist foreign policy has led to the label obscuring the content of the policy, and therefore the government will discard it and not use it anymore.

But we will always stand for equality.
